We have a few updates on the wonderful learning we have been doing! Check it out below! We have been working hard to finish up our Risk Taking Project in order to display our learning at Exhibition on November 6th! We have been having so much fun. We are currently finishing up our 3rd and final drafts of our Story Boards that will be printed in a class book. The students used both student and teacher critique to improve each draft. I am so proud of them. The top picture is three boys working together to critique eachother's work. Students then took the feedback to create their next draft. The final drafts will be featured our Risk Taker book. Thank you to all who have donated to our book fund via piggybackr. We still need many more donations. If you are able, please click here to donate! Today we had Brooklyn's mom, Ms. Corey, come in to capture our students posing like a "Risk Taker" as part of our Risk Taker book we are raising money to create! On Monday, October 6th, we had another risk taking opportunity! Talia's mom, Ms. Becky, came in to give our students an authentic Theater Experience! As a grade level, we read and acted through a play and learned a song and dance to go with it. Many students said this felt risky to them because they had to sing and dance in front of other people! Here is a picture from our Theater Workshop! I hope you enjoyed a snapshot into the last two weeks! As always, contact me with any questions. Please remember Student Led Conferences will begin this Monday, October 20th! |
