This week we launched our new project, "Food For Thought." In this project we will be looking at the following questions:
"What does it mean to be healthy?"
"How can we help other kids at our school make healthy choices?"
On Wednesday, we used our five senses to taste various healthy foods. We worked together to taste, feel, smell, see, and sometimes hear (crunchy!) healthy food. Here are some pictures from that day!

We talked in groups and shared our thoughts and ideas as we tasted and jotted down our thoughts.
The next day students worked as tables to define the word "healthy." Every group came up with multiple ways to represent "health." The students included pictures, various ways to stay healthy, and defined health as "something that is good for you," or "not being sick." We shared our ideas in groups out to the class. This sparked great whole group conversation! We are excited to begin this journey of health together!
